Take a base (Earth pony, pegasus or unicorn), change the outline color & the inner color to match your OC (Ctrl+F option replace color) then proceed to vector and place the cutie mark, change the eyelashes (if necessary), then vector and place the hair/tail and finish by cleaning up the folders, renaming the layers and symbols.
That's my way to do it :D
